"Pronghorn"
.jpg)
Pronghorns are found in the Prescott area, particularly with in the open grasslands and around the Prescott National Forest. They are the fastest hoofed animal in North America reaching speeds up to 60 MPH.
This majestic animal has been sculpted in bronze by Carl Wolf. It is a Phippen award winner and a limited edition of 30. The sculpture is 13 x 11 x 5 and retails for $2,400.
Carl G. Wolf, a third generation Arizona native, has more than thirty years' experience in his chosen profession. As a 1994 graduate of Prescott High School, he began working at Bronzesmith for high school credit in his senior year. Thirty-one years later, he's still employed there. His hands' on approach in all phases from clay to bronze has given Carl the opportunity to master his love of art, sculpting,, painting and patina.
A keen eye, skilled hands and understanding of nature, Carl's adventures as an avid outdoorsman are reflected in the quality of his work. An internatinally acclaimed patina artist, Carl's unique blends create stunnning results from abstract to traditional fine art.
Carl's talent continues to grant him a place among world-renowned artists. He has won multiple awards under these categories,, including bronze, mixed media and people's choice through participation in the annual Phippen Western Art Show and Sale.
His art is displayed at Mountain Spirit Gallery in downtown Prescott, at Bronzesmith Fine Art Foundry and Gallery in Prescott Valley, and through his website, Carlgwolf..com
